The Role
The Accounts Processing Officer accurately processes a high volume of accounts payable or accounts receivable transactions for clients, through the accurate application of relevant statutory requirements, guidelines and financial policies and procedures. This role works in a team to provide high-quality customer-focused accounts payable and accounts receivable services to clients at all levels in the Department and the TAFE Colleges.

To excel in this role, you’ll ideally bring experience in accounts processing, have a finance background, strong customer service focus, and outstanding communication and organisational skills. A team-oriented approach is essential.

As a measure to achieve equality under sections 51, 66R and 66ZP of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, young people (24 years of age and under) and people with disability who meet the requirements of the position may be prioritised for appointment.
