What is the Role?
The Manager Information Technology is responsible for managing and maintaining the ERA’s ICT environment. This is a full time permanent role within the Corporate Services Division. The role ensures the delivery of secure, reliable and fit-for-purpose technology services that support the organisation’s regulatory, corporate and operational functions.
The Manager Information Technology oversees the delivery and continuous improvement of core ICT services, including cyber security, cloud and collaboration platforms, infrastructure, end user support and business systems. The role also supports digital initiatives and the adoption of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and data analytics, to improve service delivery and organisational capability.
The position manages the IT team and is responsible for ensuring effective service delivery, ICT governance, risk management and compliance with public sector requirements. It also contributes to ICT planning, budgeting, procurement and vendor management to support the effective use of technology across the organisation.
To be successful in this role you will have strong experience managing ICT services across infrastructure, cloud platforms and business systems, supported by sound knowledge of cyber security, risk management and governance practices.
You are an effective team leader with the ability to manage performance, prioritise competing demands and deliver reliable ICT services. You have well-developed analytical, planning and problem-solving skills, and can build productive working relationships with stakeholders to support service delivery outcomes.
Experience with emerging technologies, together with an understanding of public sector environments, governance and procurement processes, will be highly regarded.
