About the role
We are looking for a Technical Solutions Specialist, Data Management to work closely with customers across the full lifecycle of Seequent products, including MX Deposit, Imago, OpenGround, and Seequent Evo. In this Perth-based role, you will provide technical support, training, and project assistance that helps customers get maximum value from Seequent’s Data Management solutions.
You will also act as a regional technical advocate for the Data Management portfolio, partnering with customers, software development teams, marketing, and local sales colleagues to support product adoption, demonstrations, onboarding, and implementation planning.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Provide well-rounded technical support for Seequent solutions and partner products across mining, civil, environmental, and energy sectors.
- Assist customers through trial, onboarding, implementation, and post-purchase phases to maximise the value of Seequent Data Management solutions.
- Deliver customer interactions and issue resolution through face-to-face conversations, telephone, and email.
- Act as a regional technical advocate for the Data Management portfolio, sharing market and customer feedback with software development teams.
- Support the local sales team with product demonstrations, customer needs discovery, implementation plans, and lead follow-up activities.
- Deliver training, contribute to marketing activities, support product upgrades, and collaborate globally to build best-practice demonstrations, training, and implementation approaches.
To be successful in this role you should have:
- A degree in geosciences, geoscience engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- At least five years of professional experience across geoscience and data management.
- Experience or operational capability with data management and geoscience or engineering-related 3D modelling software, ideally including the Leapfrog suite.
- Geoscience database knowledge and an understanding of data structures, integrations, networking technology, and platforms.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills in English, with the interpersonal skills to build sustainable customer and stakeholder relationships.
Location and additional information
This role is based in Perth, Western Australia and reports to the Director, Technical Solutions. The work mode is office-based, with employees working from the office three days per week and completing remaining working days remotely. This approach provides flexibility while supporting regular in-person collaboration, connection, and team support.
