Our team is growing; we are currently recruiting for a Lead Structural Designer to join our team in our Perth office. This role will be offered on a casual basis.

About the role

Deliver S3D and/or Advance Steel Structural/Concrete/Platework specialist knowledge and supervision of project design team while working on deliverables
Checking of Structural/Concrete/Platework models and detail drawings.
Prepare and review layouts and detail drawings in line with project requirements
Deliver design drafting according to required project timeframes and standards by coordinating and supervising project members, reviewing deliverables and preparing design and detail drawings in line with requirements
Overcome design/schedule issues by maintaining an overview of activity, communicating with the Lead Structural Engineer and addressing issues in a timely manner

About you

A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Structural, Concrete and Platework design drafting
Demonstrated design plant layout experience with crushing, grinding, materials handling, flotation, CIL/CIP, slurry, pumping, slurry agitation, particle size classification and separation would be highly regarded
Advance diploma or equivalent in Engineering is desirable.
Extensive experience with Smart Plant3D, SPF administration is highly desirable
Well-developed written and oral communication skills
