Our field workers operate with high autonomy, supported by custom electronic docket and equipment pre-start apps that completely eliminate all paper records.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Civil Drainage Operator / Pipe Layer to join our autonomous drainage crews on major commercial construction and subdivision sites.
Taking daily direction directly from the client’s site engineers and supervisors, you will execute detailed drainage installations while utilizing our custom mobile apps to report progress straight to the office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installation: Install commercial stormwater, sewer, and subsoil drainage networks to strict grade specifications.
- Technical: Set up and operate pipe lasers and trench shielding systems safely.
- Safety & Services: Work safely and efficiently around live underground utilities and services.
- Digital Pre-Starts: Utilise your smartphone/tablet to submit mandatory electronic equipment pre-starts daily before machine ignition.
- Digital Dockets: Log electronic dockets on glass with the client's supervisor daily to capture completed runs and standing time delays.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience in civil drainage and pipe laying.
- Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- RII Excavator Ticket (Highly regarded).
- Strong ability to read and interpret commercial civil drawings, level pegs, and plans.
- Tech-savvy approach with a willingness to use digital apps for all field reporting.
- Valid WA Manual Driver’s Licence (HR licence preferred).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
