As our Lifestyle Coordinator, you will play a key role in enriching the lives of our residents by developing, coordinating and delivering engaging lifestyle programs that promote wellbeing, independence, choice, connection and a strong sense of belonging.
Working closely with the Recreational Therapy Regional Advisor, Residential Manager, Allied Health professionals, volunteers, residents, families and community partners, you will create opportunities that support residents:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Relevant qualification in Lifestyle, Leisure and Health, Community Services, Individual Support, Recreation, Diversional Therapy or a related field.

Previous experience in a lifestyle, leisure, activities or community engagement role, preferably within residential aged care.

A genuine passion for supporting older people to maintain choice, independence, dignity and quality of life.

Strong understanding of person-centred care and the ability to develop activities based on individual preferences, interests, abilities and life experiences.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, volunteers and community organisations.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan, coordinate and evaluate a diverse lifestyle program.

Creativity and enthusiasm to develop innovative and meaningful activities that encourage resident participation and social connection.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Ability to engage residents with varying levels of physical, cognitive and social abilities.

Good computer literacy and ability to maintain accurate lifestyle documentation and records.

Ability to coordinate volunteers, community visitors, entertainers and external service providers.

Commitment to Work Health and Safety, infection prevention and control, privacy and confidentiality.

Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.

Current National Police Check and any other required employment screening
