We are seeking an experienced Commis Chef (Canteen) to join our team. Ideally suited to a Chef wanting to work Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm with no 7 day rotating roster.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining high standards of food production and presentation
Showing initiative re new menu ideas and recommend cost saving measures
Ensuring that all work practices in the kitchen adhere to WHS & HACCP requirements
Organizing food production in accordance with the production list, function sheets and other special requirements

Ideally you will have:

A passion for the industry
Be committed & reliable as well as creative and able to multi task
Self-motivated
Previous experience in a similar role with experience in A-La-Carte and Banquet Kitchen Operations
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
