In this role, you’ll help shape the future of the IGA supermarket network by supporting the creation of shopper-led trade plans, sourcing great deals, and working with suppliers to bring innovative products and promotions to life. In this Role

Broad general merchandise category experience across multiple product areas
End-to-end delivery of seasonal programs, with strong commercial acumen including pricing and clearance management
Hands-on sourcing experience across domestic and international supplier networks
Strong critical path management, ensuring alignment across sourcing, logistics, and delivery timelines
Ability to design and execute relevant, commercially viable programs
Effective stakeholder engagement across suppliers, logistics, QA, and cross-functional teams including stores and operations

You’re Likely a Match If

Extensive FMCG experience (e.g., Buying), with sound knowledge of supermarket retailing and supply chain efficiencies
Strong and collaborative leader with the ability to inspire and guide teams
Excellent understanding of promotional processes, category management, pricing strategies, and profitability drivers
Proven ability to lead teams through change while coaching to leverage talent and capability
Strong data and analytics background with the ability to build and execute effective strategies
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to partner with internal teams and external stakeholders
