About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organised Project Manager to join our Strategy & Growth division and drive key organisational initiatives that support innovation, compliance, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.

This is a pivotal role responsible for leading the successful delivery of strategic and operational projects across the organisation. Working across multiple business areas, the Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project delivery, including major tenders, service improvement initiatives, organisational change projects, and stakeholder engagement activities.

The role is responsible for establishing robust project governance, developing and managing project plans, coordinating multidisciplinary project teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, in budget, and to the required quality standards. Working closely with senior leaders, operational teams, and external stakeholders, the Project Manager will ensure projects align with organisational priorities, deliver measurable benefits, and contribute to high-quality services and positive outcomes for the communities we serve.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a meaningful impact within the community services sector.

You’ll be Responsible for:

Managing the full project lifecycle across multiple concurrent initiatives, including planning, coordination, risk management, reporting, and delivery
Coordinating the timely development of tenders, grants, submissions, and strategic documentation to support organisational growth
Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across government, community services, and industry sectors
Monitoring project progress, analysing data and insights, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
Ensuring projects and initiatives align with quality frameworks, compliance obligations, and Opendoor policies and procedures

About You

You’re a proactive and solutions-focused project professional who can confidently manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. You may currently be working in a project management role or looking for the next step in your project management career.

You are highly collaborative, commercially aware, and capable of translating strategic objectives into practical outcomes. You enjoy building relationships, navigating complexity, and delivering high-quality work in a purpose-driven environment.

You will bring:

Qualifications in Project Management or a related discipline
Experience working with Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid delivery methodologies
Demonstrated experience establishing and working within a Project Management Office and managing projects, tenders, submissions, or strategic initiatives
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to prepare high-quality, persuasive documents, lead regular project status meetings, facilitate workshops and exert influence across the organisation
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities with the ability to interpret data and provide insights
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously
Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing skills and relationship management capability
A proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem-solving
Proficiency in the use of project management tools, especially monday.com or similar tools
High level skills across MS Office
Commitment to trauma-informed practice, child safety, and inclusive service delivery

Bonus points if you have:

Experience within community services, employment services, disability, youth, or not-for-profit sectors
Previous involvement in strategic growth, funding submissions, or service design projects
