WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
Join the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network (BHFLHN) and contribute to a supportive team within a Mental Health setting. Support the Nurse Unit Manager/Team Leader and deliver person-centred, high-quality care. You will gain experience across a range of clinical activities, contribute to patient education, quality improvement, and the development of other team members, all within a supportive and collaborative rural health environment.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Do you hold, or are you eligible to hold, registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia?
- Do you have postgraduate qualification in Mental Health practice, or equivalent.
- Do you have a passion for providing compassionate, person-centred care to patients and their families?
- Are you a team player who works effectively under supervision and contributes to a positive workplace culture?
- Are you willing to engage with Aboriginal communities in a culturally appropriate manner and embrace ongoing learning opportunities?

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
- Deliver person-centred mental health nursing care and case management, including assessment, care planning, therapeutic interventions, and monitoring outcomes.
- Coordinate and oversee nursing care within a team, supporting multidisciplinary collaboration and service delivery planning.
- Identify and resolve immediate care or service issues, contribute to quality improvement, and support change management initiatives.
- Provide education to consumers, families, carers, and colleagues, while maintaining ongoing professional development.
- Participate in research, clinical audits, and promote evidence-based practice in care delivery.
- Support and guide students, assistants in nursing, and team members, contributing to leadership and workforce development.
