What will you do?

As Head of Digital Marketing, you'll take ownership of Localsearch's SEO and paid search strategy, leading a team of Digital Strategists while reporting directly to our CEO. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on strategy, people and performance.

Develop and implement digital marketing strategies for SEO and paid search, with clearly defined plans and measurable goals
Conduct market research and analysis of search behaviour, competitor positioning, and channel trends to inform strategy
Advise the CEO on marketing investment priorities, channel mix, and emerging digital opportunities
Lead and develop a team of SEO and Google Ads Digital Strategists, setting clear performance expectations
Conduct regular one-on-ones and performance reviews to grow individual and team capability
Design and oversee digital marketing campaigns across SEO and Google Ads, grounded in audience insight and defined conversion objectives
Review and approve campaign strategies to ensure best-practice standards and deliverables are met
Oversee the SEO service offering across technical, on-page, content, and link building disciplines
Analyse marketing performance across channels, interpreting results against KPIs and presenting recommendations to the CEO
Monitor market trends and benchmark performance against industry standards to drive continuous improvement

Who are you & what will you bring?

We're after an experienced digital marketing leader who combines specialist SEO and Google Ads expertise with strong people leadership and commercial acumen.

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Relevant senior experience in a specialist digital marketing role, with expertise in SEO and paid search, ideally in a digital agency or managed services environment
Experience leading and developing a team of digital marketing strategists
Experience planning and managing digital marketing campaigns across SEO and paid search for multi-client portfolios
Experience conducting market research and using consumer behaviour insights to shape marketing strategy
Experience at a senior level with direct engagement with executive leadership
Specialist knowledge of SEO and Google Ads
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach and hold a team accountable
Strong marketing analytics capability, able to interpret data and translate insights into clear recommendations
Strong communication skills, able to present complex digital concepts clearly to stakeholders and clients
Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities without compromising quality
