Murdoch Endocrinology and Physician Centre – MURDOCH, WA 6150

About us:

Our Clinic is located in the Wexford Medical Centre in Murdoch. We are seeking part time/casual medical receptionist/secretary for a fast-paced medical specialist practice.

We have a supportive team and our doctors are renowned for being friendly and pleasant to work with. No weekend work, onsite parking available, immediate start.

Role Duties:

· Meeting and greeting patients;

· Answering the phone and taking messages and actioning them;

· Processing patient referrals and medical details, and booking appointments;

· Scanning documents, sending/faxing clinic letters and processing referrals;

· Processing payments/claims through EFTPOS and practice management software;

· Administrative support;

· Up to 14 hours a week Monday to Thursday, as well as opportunity to flex hours to cover annual leave and sick leave for our other staff.

Successful Candidates:

· Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist preferred;

· Exceptional customer service, and strong written and communication skills both in-person and on the phone with a demonstrated empathetic nature;

· High level of professionalism and confidentiality while working with sensitive information;

· Ability to multitask and prioritise;

· Time management and confidence to work autonomously, collaboratively and professionally, whilst also being supportive within a team environment;

· Consistent meticulous attention to detail, and high level of accuracy;

· Good computer skills – Microsoft world, outlook; Typing not required;

· Experience in medical practice management software preferred.
