Job Description
We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Occupational Therapist nterested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Perth.
We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our Perth team, a close knit group of passionate allied health professionals who genuinely care about each other and the community we serve. Whether it’s morning coffees or collaborating on complex cases the Perth team is known for its warm, supportive culture and strong multidisciplinary expertise. As a Rehabilitation Consultant here, you’ll be surrounded by colleagues who lift each other up, and you’ll be equipped with tailored training, tools and mentorship to help you thrive both professionally and personally.
In this dynamic and rewarding role, you'll enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to structure your day while making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals recovering from workplace injury or illness. You'll guide clients through their rehabilitation journey, supporting their return to health, work, and everyday life. This includes delivering tailored occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of physical and psychological conditions, and helping them achieve sustainable recovery and return-to-work outcomes.
Some of your day to day includes:
Manage a varied caseload, supported by Rehabilitation Assistants to help reduce administrative workload
Apply your clinical expertise to improve return to work outcomes and collaborate with employers and employees to deliver injury prevention initiatives and workplace education programs
Work closely with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals across a range of schemes, including workers compensation, CTP, life insurance, Comcare and DVA
Conduct a variety of assessments using your discipline-specific skills, including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments and Activities of Daily Living Assessments
Support individuals with injury or health conditions to achieve sustainable return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes
Develop and implement tailored Return to Work plans

Qualifications
Our new team member will have:
A qualification in Occupational Therapy
Full Professional Registration with AHPRA or eligibility to obtain
Strong communication skills to build and develop relationships
Excellent time management skills - be able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
A desire to problem solve with the confidence to be innovative, use their initiative and achieve results
A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the associated health benefits
A current drivers' license and access to their own vehicle
