About the Opportunity
One of our clients, a rapidly growing technology consulting and digital transformation organisation, is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager / Delivery Leader to oversee enterprise-scale technology programs across Australia and New Zealand.
This role offers a clear pathway into a regional Delivery Head position, providing the opportunity to lead strategic client engagements, manage high-performing delivery teams, and contribute to business growth across the ANZ region.
The organisation delivers innovative solutions across Data & AI, Cloud Technologies, Enterprise Platforms, and Digital Transformation initiatives for leading enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Leadership
- Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent technology programs.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
- Establish delivery governance frameworks, reporting structures, and risk management processes.
- Monitor project performance and proactively address delivery challenges.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary delivery contact for enterprise clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders including CIOs, CTOs, and executive leadership teams.
- Lead steering committee meetings, executive presentations, and project reviews.
- Manage escalations and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Onshore–Offshore Coordination
- Collaborate closely with distributed delivery teams across Australia and offshore locations.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership.
- Drive accountability and ensure smooth project execution across multiple teams.
Commercial & Financial Management
- Monitor project budgets, resource utilisation, and delivery profitability.
- Manage project scope, change requests, and contractual obligations.
- Support estimation activities, Statements of Work (SOWs), and project planning.
Delivery Excellence & Innovation
- Implement best-practice project management methodologies.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to improve reporting, documentation, governance, and operational efficiency.
- Develop scalable delivery processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Requirements
Experience
- 12–18 years of experience within IT Services, Consulting, or System Integration environments.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working within the Australian market.
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale enterprise programs and transformation initiatives.
- Experience leading multiple concurrent projects and managing diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong exposure to onshore-offshore delivery models.
Technical Exposure
Candidates should possess experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Data & Artificial Intelligence Platforms
- Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- ERP / Enterprise Systems Programs
Leadership & Communication
- Strong executive presence and stakeholder management capability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
AI & Modern Delivery Practices
- Practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of how AI can improve project delivery, documentation, testing, and operational efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent.
- Experience within enterprise consulting organisations, system integrators, or digital transformation firms.
