Salary: $79,589 - $118,063 pro rata, based on experience in accordance with the Teacher scale of the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA)

The Successful Applicant Will Possess:

An understanding of the MACS 2030 Strategy, including the MACS Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement.
A passion for teaching and building strong relationships with students
The ability to lead the learning in the classroom including principals of explicit instruction e.g. retrieval and review, checking for understanding and provision of purposeful feedback etc.
An ability to foster a classroom culture where mistakes are seen as valuable learning opportunities
A collaborative mindset and commitment to working with our school community to improve student learning outcomes
Knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 and evidence-based teaching practices
The ability to plan and implement engaging learning experiences for all students
Proficiency in the use of technology to enhance student learning
Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school, or a commitment to undertake this study in the future
A willingness to comply with the school’s Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct

Special Requirements:

St Joseph the Worker promotes the safety, well-being, and inclusion of all children; therefore, the successful applicant must demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to providing a safe environment for children.
The successful applicant will hold the current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.
Bachelor of Education or relevant tertiary qualification
