Role Description/Criteria
St George Preca School is seeking a qualified educator for a classroom teaching position with a full time allocation of Physical Education. This ongoing contract is for the commencement of the 2027 school year. Experienced educators as well as graduates are encouraged to apply. St George Preca Parish Primary School is in the Parish of St Catherine of Siena, Caroline Springs. The current enrolment is approximately 742 students from Prep to Grade 6.
We are seeking an educator committed to developing their professional knowledge and skills for the benefit of the students in their care.

plan, teach, assess, and report to class teachers on the Physical Education and Sports program for 19 classes using the Victorian Curriculum as the main reference

Set a budget, monitor and purchase Physical Education equipment/resources

Coordinate and oversee the School Athletics & Swimming Carnivals

Assist senior school class teachers with inter-school organisation – Summer and Winter seasons

Coordinate school representatives for zone and regional swimming; cross-country; athletics

Coordinate whole school events eg. Colour Fun Run, Footy Roadshow

attend appropriate professional development and share information with staff

be committed to personal and professional growth

have registration (or eligibility) with V.I.T,

preferably have accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School
