Front Office Receptionist – Part-Time/Casual

The Lookout Resort | Noosa Heads

About the Role

Employment Type: Casual
Hours: Flexible part-time roster

Thursday and Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm, plus Saturday 9:00am – 12:30pm
Additional hours may be available during peak periods.

About You

You’re naturally warm, friendly and approachable, with a bubbly personality and a genuine passion for hospitality.

You enjoy meeting people, making guests feel welcome and going the extra mile to create a great guest experience.

Hospitality, accommodation or guest services experience is highly regarded, as is a good knowledge of Noosa, including its beaches, restaurants, attractions and local hotspots.

Most importantly, you will be:

· Flexible and willing to help wherever needed

About the Role

Reporting directly to the On-Site Managers, you will play an important role in the smooth day-to-day operation of the resort.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Warmly welcoming arriving and departing guests and providing a friendly, personalised experience

· Spending time with guests on arrival and sharing local knowledge, including recommendations for restaurants, attractions and things to do

· Processing online and telephone reservations through our PMS (Resly)

· Ensuring guest communications are accurate and sent promptly

· Answering incoming calls and assisting with guest enquiries, reservations and requests

· Processing deposits, entering data, issuing receipts and processing EFTPOS transactions

· Using our PMS system and maintaining accurate records

· Preparing apartments for incoming guests and ensuring they meet our presentation standards

· Coordinating and overseeing cleaning contractors

· Maintaining master key control

· Ensuring accurate room status information is maintained and communicated

· Identifying maintenance issues and, with management approval, arranging trades to attend where required

· Maintaining a high level of attention to detail across guest service and apartment presentation

· Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

· Assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the resort

· Being flexible and jumping in to help wherever required

What We’re Looking For

A keen eye for detail is essential. You will take pride in the way the resort and apartments are presented and understand that the little things can make a big difference to a guest's experience.

You’ll also need to be comfortable working independently, using computer systems and managing multiple tasks while maintaining a friendly and professional approach.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys people and hospitality.
