two separate vacancies: one representing
Mercedes‑Benz and Freightliner, and the other representing
Fuso—iconic brands backed by global engineering, advanced technology and the strength of Australia’s largest Daimler Truck dealership network.

About the role
As a Truck Sales Consultant, you will own customer relationships, build pipeline, identify new business opportunities and manage the sales journey from initial enquiry through to delivery and handover.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals and customer follow-up.
- Identify customer needs and recommend tailored truck and support solutions aligned to their operation.
- Manage enquiries promptly and professionally across phone, email, online and in person channels.
- Present vehicles and stock to a high standard, including listings, photography and yard presentation.
- Complete trade appraisals, inventory checks and quality inspections to support confident customer decisions.
- Coordinate vehicle preparation, delivery and handover to ensure a smooth and professional customer experience.
- Grow long-term customer relationships across a range of industries while actively converting new business opportunities.
You will be backed by product, systems and manufacturer training, giving you the support to perform quickly, build capability and grow your career across the Daimler Truck portfolio.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in B2B sales, ideally in automotive, heavy vehicle, transport, industrial or capital equipment environments.
- Confidence in business development, prospecting and creating new opportunities in market.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a customer-first mindset.
- A consultative approach to sales and the ability to translate customer needs into practical solutions.
- A current driver licence and willingness to obtain a heavy vehicle licence if required.
