You'll play an important role in ensuring financial processes run smoothly while supporting teams that deliver vital mental health care across the region.
About the role:
As a Finance Officer, you'll provide administrative and financial support to the Finance Managers and the broader Hunter New England Mental Health Service. Working in a collaborative team environment, you'll help maintain accurate financial records, assist with reporting and contribute to the day-to-day financial operations that support quality healthcare.
Reporting to a Finance Manager, no two days are exactly the same. You'll work across a variety of financial and administrative tasks while building your skills and gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide administrative and financial support to the Finance and Performance Team.
- Assist with financial processing, reporting and reconciliation activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Prepare and process a range of finance-related transactions.
- Support Finance Managers with day-to-day operational requirements.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders across Hunter New England Mental Health Service.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of financial and administrative processes.
