Your New Role

12 month max term position
Location Sydney
Start ASAP

Reporting to the Senior Leader, Payroll, you’ll support the day-to-day delivery of payroll services across the business. You’ll help ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time, respond to employee queries, manage payroll transactions and reconciliations, and contribute to strong payroll controls and compliance outcomes. Some key responsibilities will include:

Process end-to-end payroll activities including new starters, salary payments, reimbursements, terminations and deductions
Support payroll compliance across PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation and related obligations
Manage payroll enquiries and provide clear, professional support to employees and leaders
Complete payroll reconciliations and ensure payroll transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger
Maintain payroll records, support reporting requirements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Partner effectively with stakeholders across Payroll, People and Finance

How do you exceed our expectations?

Proven payroll experience in a complex, fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of payroll operations, legislation, compliance requirements and modern awards
Experience using ADP Payforce, payroll system along with strong Excel capability
Exposure to payroll accounting, reconciliations and general ledger processing
Excellent attention to detail, sound judgement and a high level of discretion
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a customer-focused approach
The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively across teams
You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
