What you'll be doing
As the Department Secretary, Ophthalmology, you will provide high-level administrative and customer service support to ensure the efficient operation of the department. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy healthcare environment.

Coordinate and deliver accurate, timely and efficient administrative support across the department
Manage correspondence, reports, documentation and communication on behalf of senior staff and clinicians
Maintain departmental databases, records and information systems while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
Monitor workflows, prioritise competing demands and resolve issues independently, escalating where appropriate
Support workforce administration activities, staff training initiatives and compliance with mandatory organisational requirements
