About The Role
Assist with the development and coordinate portfolio-wide reporting, short-term strategic projects and governance activities. Support the delivery of high-quality reporting, analysis and briefing products to assist executive decision-making, monitor progress against strategic priorities and ensure effective coordination of cross-portfolio activities. Assist with time-limited projects related to Machinery of Government activities to support executive decision-making, organisational priorities and effective portfolio outcomes. The role may also be assigned to work across the Government Services Branch.

About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Government experience, with a strong understanding of parliamentary processes, executive administration, and the machinery of government.
- Proactive and outcome-focused, with the ability to identify priorities and deliver with minimal direction.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work in fast-paced environments.
- Experience developing systems, processes, and reporting frameworks, including establishing new approaches where required.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively across all levels, including technical experts, executives and minister’s offices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop practical solutions to complex issues.
