Basis Expert Consulting Services Pty Ltd is looking for a full-time SAP Competency Lead – SAP AMS Delivery to join our BCS family and work with enterprise customers across large-scale SAP landscapes.
You will work onsite, representing the BCS brand while driving SAP AMS operational excellence, offshore delivery coordination, governance execution, and service management across multiple SAP workstreams.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- SAP AMS Delivery Management: Lead and manage SAP AMS delivery operations across offshore teams, ensuring high-quality support delivery and operational excellence.
- Incident & Service Request Management: Manage incidents, service requests, escalations, SLA adherence, and operational reporting across multiple SAP support streams.
- Operational Governance: Drive governance processes, ticket management, service reviews, and continuous operational improvements aligned with enterprise support standards.
- Cross-Functional SAP Coordination: Coordinate technical, functional, data, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless support delivery and issue resolution.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with onsite leadership, customer stakeholders, and support teams to ensure smooth service operations and customer satisfaction.
- Service Improvement Initiatives: Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, service quality, and delivery performance.
- SAP Support Oversight: Ensure effective delivery across SAP Basis, SAP Security/GRC, Functional Support, Data Platforms, and Cloud Infrastructure support areas.
- Governance Forums & Reporting: Support customer governance meetings, operational reviews, status reporting, and strategic planning activities.
- Escalation & Risk Management: Manage critical escalations, operational risks, and service delivery challenges while ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder communication.
- Offshore Team Leadership: Lead offshore SAP support teams, monitor performance, allocate priorities, and ensure alignment with delivery expectations and SLAs.
Skills Required/Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8–15 years of experience in SAP AMS, SAP Service Delivery, or SAP Support Operations.
- Strong experience managing offshore SAP support teams in enterprise environments.
- Good understanding of SAP Technical and Functional landscapes.
- Hands-on exposure to SAP ECC, SAP BW/HANA, SAP Security/GRC, SAP Basis, and SAP Data Platforms.
- Experience working with SLA-driven delivery models and governance frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management and customer coordination skills.
- Experience in operational reporting, governance reviews, and escalation management.
- Exposure to AWS Cloud Infrastructure and enterprise cloud support environments is preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple SAP streams and priorities simultaneously.
- ITIL certification or Service Management certifications are an added advantage.
