Your Impact, With Us
As our valued Medical Secretary, you’ll provide warm, professional, and efficient administrative support. The position will be predominantly based at our Murdoch clinic, with travel to our Rockingham clinic to cover your doctor's list. Your skills and expertise will assist in providing quality care to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. On occasion, you may be required to provide short-term administrative relief at our practices or leave cover for other secretaries.
Key Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a medical secretary role including coordinating a specialist’s schedule, bookings, running clinics and providing a PA service to the specialists
- Strong medical terminology and cardiology terminology (desirable)
- Competent in the use of medical management software (we use HealthTrack)
- Highly organised, able to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- Liaising effectively with all stakeholders including hospital and health care providers
- Good attention to detail and well-developed computer literacy
- Issuing patient invoices and receipts, patient quotes, attending to account enquiries, billing Medicare, DVA and health funds
- Current Australian driver’s license.
