Our diverse team consists of Psychiatrists, Psychologists and Counsellors who are very passionate and dedicated for advancing the mental health and well being of every person who walks through our doors. The Opportunity
Health in Mind is seeking an experienced, friendly, energetic, and organised Medical Receptionist to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic multidisciplinary environment, contributing to a team dedicated to delivering high-quality mental health care.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming clients in a warm, professional, and compassionate manner
- Managing appointment bookings and multiple clinician schedules
- Answering phone calls and responding to enquiries
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate billing records
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and managing records
- Supporting clinicians and assisting with general administrative duties
About You
The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate:
- Previous reception experience (medical or allied health preferred)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, SharePoint, and Word
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly, approachable, and professional manner
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Be willing to work till 5.30pm
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience with Gentu practice management software (preferred but not essential)
- Completion of the AMA Medical Reception Course (advantageous)
