The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Developmental Science of Mental Health and Wellbeing team at the Kids Research Institute.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality written and oral communication outputs including competitive grant applications, and publications, working closely with various stakeholders. They will also manage various aspects of research activities by assisting with the development and implementation of projects and with day-to-day operations, including, but not limited to conducting literature reviews, managing data, and preparing reports. With the guidance of senior staff within the Developmental Science of Mental Health team, we are looking for a motivated individual with well-developed interpersonal skills.
Based at Perth Children’s Hospital, this is a full-time, ongoing opportunity.
About You
- This role would be suitable for postdoctoral researchers, candidates with extensive research experience, or professionals in public-sector contract work. This is a unique opportunity to support scientific research in the field of Developmental Science of Mental Health and to develop research management skills.
- A PhD in Psychology, mental-health, public health, social sciences or related field; or a master's qualification with relevant work experience.
- Authored publications and contributed to proposals.
- Knowledge of the research funding landscape and grant processes
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, specifically a proactive attitude to relationship building.
