We are seeking an experienced Project Manager - Spray Seal to join our team based in Bibra Lake. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for the successful delivery of spray seal projects across Western Australia, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time and within budget while maintaining strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for business growth.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of spray seal projects from initiation through to completion.

Conduct site inspections and undertake project planning, including pre-construction risk assessments.

Develop project programs and resource plans covering personnel, plant, materials and subcontractors.

Ensure compliance with Project Management Plans and assist in their development and implementation.

Manage the mobilisation and roll-out of new contracts and services.

Monitor project progress, performance and deliverables to achieve agreed objectives and targets.

Maintain project cost control and financial management within project management systems.

Review legal, contractual and corporate requirements to ensure project compliance.

Ensure all site safety documentation and project records are maintained and up to date.

Monitor and measure project processes and outcomes to meet quality standards.

Review workmanship quality to minimise rework, client complaints and commercial impacts.

Ensure no work commences without the appropriate purchase orders, contracts or subcontract agreements in place.

Work closely with Site Supervisors, Project Coordinators, Contract Administrator and operational teams to ensure effective communication and project alignment.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders.

Meet regularly with clients to understand their needs, present solutions and promote Colas services.

Support clients in understanding the full range of services available across Colas and the wider group.

Identify opportunities to expand services, introduce innovative treatment solutions and generate new business opportunities.

Prepare and deliver monthly project performance reports to senior management.

Participate in management meetings and provide updates on project performance, risks and opportunities.

Assist with the resolution of contractual, commercial and payment disputes.

Ensure contractual obligations are understood, managed and administered effectively.

Monitor market activity, industry trends and competitor performance.

Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management regarding market changes and growth opportunities.
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline (desirable).

Experience managing civil construction, road maintenance or spray seal projects.

Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, risk management and cost control.

Sound commercial and contractual management skills.

Demonstrated ability to build trusted client relationships and identify growth opportunities.

Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
