Through KARI Clinic, children and families receive culturally informed, multidisciplinary assessments and interventions, with training and quality initiatives recognised at leading industry conferences.This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with the dynamic Paediatric Occupational Therapy team at Liverpool Hospital while supporting the growth of others through supervision, competency development, and professional guidance. You will provide advanced, person‑centred and trauma‑informed clinical care to KARI clients and their families/carers, working closely with a multidisciplinary network of health professionals.

Demonstrated ability to apply evidence‑based practice while delivering culturally appropriate services effectively and efficiently to children and families with complex psychosocial needs, including those from Indigenous backgrounds

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, and current Occupational Therapy registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Demonstrated advanced post graduate clinical skills and significant experience in the provision of occupational therapy services with a paediatric population.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in issues surrounding Occupational Therapy management of Aboriginal children and children in Out of Home Care (OOHC).
Demonstrated experience participating in the planning, implementation and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating the quality improvement process.
Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision, mentoring of staff and/or students.
Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P2). Those who hold a C class license (P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses and P1 are not permitted.
