Are you a university student, teacher's aide or school officer? This is the perfect opportunity that works around your current role!

Join our Holiday HQ OSHC team at Helping Hands Narangba and help create exciting, engaging, and unforgettable experiences for primary school children during school holidays.

Whether you're a university student looking to build a career in teaching, psychology, social work or childcare, or a teacher's aide looking for school holiday work, this role is designed to fit your lifestyle. Gain valuable hands-on experience with primary school-aged children while we work around your university timetable, placements, and other commitments.

This role will mainly work Holiday HQ shifts across school holidays, block shifts 6am-6pm.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

While we’re happy to provide training and guidance in the role and sector, here are a few qualities we’re looking for:

Desirable but not mandatory: Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 1 or 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
Availability in September school holidays
National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko).
A genuine love for working with children.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
A team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities.
Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!) and a state working-with-children check.
Must have valid Australian work rights.
