We are seeking an enthusiastic Inclusion Teacher for Prep to Year 6 as well as a classroom teacher for Year 3 (0.6FTE) to join our close-knit and supportive team. for the Inclusion role you will be reporting to the Head of Special Education and Head of Curriculum, you will work collaboratively with classroom teachers, teacher aides and other school staff to support students with diverse learning needs.
In this role, you will:
Provide targeted support and direct instruction to individual students and small groups, including through co-teaching.
Work alongside classroom teachers and teacher aides to support students experiencing learning difficulties.
Assist students to access and engage with the curriculum by implementing appropriate adjustments to learning environments, teaching strategies and classroom materials.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop, maintain and review accurate Personalised Learning Plans.
Build positive partnerships with students, families and staff to support student learning, wellbeing and participation.
Apply your understanding of the Disability Standards for Education 2005 and the school's obligations to students with disability.
Support accurate Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability reporting and use this information to inform appropriate adjustments and supports.
