About the Company

Integra Switchboards is a privately owned and operated company with a reputation as one of Queensland's top Electrical Switchboard manufacturers. We are known for building quality products and our high level of customer service. We are in the process of growing and expanding our business in Queensland.

Role Overview

This role involves assembling, wiring, testing, and commissioning modular electrical switchboards in accordance with Australian Standards and energy authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble switchboard frames, cabinets, and electrical components
Install busbars and complete control wiring
Perform electrical and mechanical testing (e.g. insulation resistance, continuity, polarity)
Inspect and verify electrical connections and terminations
Conduct commissioning and configuration (e.g. trip settings, power monitoring systems)
Ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 61439, and WHS policies

Required Skills & Experience

Electrician (Electrical Fitter/Mechanic) Qualification is mandatory
Electrical Engineering Degree would be considered favorably
Experience with modular switchboard assembly and schematic wiring
Minimum 3-5 years experience with modular switchboard assembly and wiring
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
Proficiency with testing tools (multimeters, insulation testers, micro-ohm testers)
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and safely
Good communication skills (written & verbal English)
Knowledge of Australian Standards and electrical regulations
Australian work rights will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
