Truck Mechanic – Kewdale (Full-Time, Monday–Friday)

PER Mechanical is a well-established workshop specialising in truck and earthmoving equipment repairs and servicing. We’re a small, reliable team based in Kewdale, offering steady work, a good culture, and no weekend hours.

We’re currently looking for an experienced Truck Mechanic to join our team.

What’s on Offer

Full-time, permanent role
Monday–Friday: 7:00am – 4:30pm (no weekends)
Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)
Stable, long-term position
Small, supportive team environment
Variety of work across trucks and earthmoving equipment

Your Responsibilities

Ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard
Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment
Perform both planned and breakdown maintenance
Estimate job timeframes and manage workload efficiently
Keep Workshop Supervisor updated on progress
Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on trucks and heavy vehicles

About You

Trade qualified Diesel/Truck Mechanic
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a heavy transport environment
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
High attention to detail and reliability
Good communication and organisational skills
Able to work both independently and in a team

Desirable:

Experience with a range of heavy vehicle brands
Site or field service experience
