As a Field Service Plant Mechanic, you’ll be on the front line supporting our customers—responding to breakdowns, performing diagnostics, and delivering high-quality repairs on Caterpillar equipment in the field.

What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, service and repair CAT mobile plant equipment in the field.
- Deliver safe, high‑quality work with minimal downtime for customers.
- Work independently across multiple customer sites.
- Represent WesTrac with strong technical capability and customer service.
- Cert III Mobile Plant Technology (or equivalent trade).
- Experience with mining or heavy earthmoving equipment (CAT highly regarded).
- Strong diagnostics and repair capability.
- OEM experience, SIS/ET exposure (highly regarded).
- Ability to work autonomously in the field.
- Current driver’s licence.
