About the Role
At Eldercare, we know that older people in our care want to remain as healthy and independent as possible. With a gym at each of our facilities, and a thriving reablement program, our Physiotherapists tackle frailty through intensive 1:1 reablement programs and ongoing group-based exercise.
As a Physiotherapist at Eldercare, you will work in a large, multidisciplinary environment alongside Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Dietitians, Social Workers and Dementia Specialists. You will offer supervision and direction to Mobility Assistants, to promote mobility and exercise for all of our residents in the pursuit of individual goals.
Our Physiotherapists utilise their full range of clinical assessment and treatment skills and enjoy having the time to support residents to achieve their potential. Our team culture embraces innovation by adopting evidence-based and emerging practices into our service model.
Professional support is offered by our two regional Allied Health Team Leaders, and ongoing professional growth is enabled through bi-monthly meetings and the opportunity to develop and implement new practices.
- Have a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, with current AHPRA registration
