Full Job Description

Casual or Permanent Part-Time Opportunity

Rossdale Golf Club is looking for a friendly, energetic and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be front and centre with our members, guests and event clients while leading the team through day-to-day clubhouse operations and a variety of exciting events.

About the Role

Alongside our daily clubhouse operations, you'll help deliver a diverse range of events including:

Weddings
Corporate golf days
Conferences
Celebrations and social events
Breakfast functions and evening events

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service across the bar, café and clubhouse.
Bartending, coffee making, takeaway food service and event service.
Set up and pack down function spaces for events.
Supervise and support between 1 and 6 staff during each shift.
Lead by example with a hands-on approach—our management team is always on the floor supporting the team.
Ensure the smooth operation of the venue in the absence of the Assistant General Manager.
Complete opening and closing procedures, including end-of-day cash reconciliation.
Coach and motivate team members to deliver outstanding service.
Ensure staff are performing their duties efficiently and professionally.
Resolve customer issues confidently and proactively.
Train and mentor Front of House team members to continually develop their skills.

About You

You will bring:

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory hospitality role.
A passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Strong food, wine and coffee knowledge.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
The ability to remain calm, organised and professional under pressure.
A positive attitude and genuine love of hospitality.
Current RSA certification (essential).

Availability is required Thursday through Monday, including evenings and weekends.

Casual employment is available, with the opportunity for permanent part-time employment for the right candidate.
