Position Title: Technical Support Officer

Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation

COMPANY OVERVIEW/ POSITION SUMMARY

Majors Group provides comprehensive solutions including specialized frozen yogurt machines, premium ingredients, and complete repair services to franchise operators and independent businesses.

The Technical Support Technician supports and maintains Majors Group’s national ICT infrastructure across multiple states and New Zealand, providing end-to-end support for hardware, software, networks, and remote systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain hardware (desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals) across all locations
Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues, coordinating replacements when required
Manage telephony systems, hardware asset registers, and equipment across the organisation
Install, maintain, and support business software, including Microsoft 365 and core systems (ERP, CRM, accounting, inventory)
Provide remote desktop support to staff across all states and New Zealand, resolving ICT issues without requiring physical presence at each site
Configure and maintain networks (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN access
Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues promptly
Deliver remote ICT support across all sites, using RMM tools for proactive system management
Support staff onboarding, including device setup and system access
Maintain cybersecurity measures, user access controls, backups, and disaster recovery processes
Assist with ICT projects, system upgrades, and new site setups
Liaise with vendors and document ICT systems and procedures

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

· Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, and/or

· Minimum three (3) years of demonstrated experience in an ICT support or systems administration role

· Minimum of one year of relevant experience in addition to relevant qualifications

· Proven experience providing multi-site or remote ICT support

· Solid understanding of networking protocols, hardware configuration, and software deployment

· Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and cloud-based environments

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, and network issues

· Advanced skills in MS Office applications and experience with data management platforms

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
