About us

Miss Margarita or "Miss Margs" as some locals call us is a funky friendly place that blends the energy and flavours of Mexico with the beachy vibe of Byron.

We first opened the doors of our colourful cantina in December 2012. From day one the friendly staff have shaken, smiled and ran to keep up with an unwavering demand for the fresh, moreish food and ‘hit the spot’ cocktails.

We love to make great food and 'one is not enough' cocktails...but most of all we love to make our guests relax and enjoy their Miss Margs experience. Happy vibes, cold beer, ocean breezes and banging margaritas guaranteed

About the role

Do you love the buzz of working in a large busy kitchen environment?

We are currently looking for an experienced cook (from a commercial or service kitchen background) to join the team.

In addition to experience working in a high volume, fast paced environment, we are seeking someone who is reliable, has the ability to multi-task and is ready to value add to our already high performing team.

Primary responsibilities

Work with the Head Chef to coordinate and carry out the preparation of all menu items
Prepare menu items on a large scale using a variety of commercial kitchen tools and appliances such as food processors, mixers, blenders, ovens, ranges and grills.
Maintain all cooking and service items in an orderly and sanitary condition according to safe food handling practices and government regulations.
