Casual Veterinary Nurse – Greencross Wetherill Park

We’re currently looking for a Casual Vet Nurse to join us.
We’re a busy clinic with a moderate surgical and medical caseload, perfect for nurses who enjoy variety, hands-on nursing, and learning something new every day. About the Role
You’ll be involved in all aspects of general nursing, including:

Pre- and post-operative patient care
-
Surgical assistance, anaesthetics, and monitoring
-
Animal pathology, emergency and critical care
-
Performing minor procedures when required
-
Maintaining high standards of hygiene across the clinic and surgical areas

Reception and client support duties as needed
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
-
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with a minimum of 2 years’ experience

Availability to work Fridays, with flexibility to cover additional shifts at short notice
-
Confidence assisting with surgery, anaesthetics, and patient recovery
-
Strong animal handling skills and clinical knowledge
-
Ability to stay calm, efficient, and organised in a busy environment

Excellent communication skills and a client-first mindset
-
High attention to detail and accurate record keeping
-
A genuine eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to the team
-
Experience with RX Works (advantageous but not essential)
