About the Role

We're looking for compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join IRT Sarah Claydon

As a registered nurse, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality, person-centred clinical care that enhances the health, wellbeing and quality of life of our residents. You'll be supported by a collaborative team that shares your commitment to making every day meaningful for those in our care.

Super exciting offer:

Sign on Bonus of $6,000 for FT roles (38 hours) and $4000 for PT roles (24 hours +) to Join IRT in the Shoalhaven region
Hourly base rate between $45.24 and $57.48 per hour, plus shift penalties depending on the experience.

We are offering a full-time position working 38 hours per week; Monday to Friday 0630-1500

How You’ll Make a Difference

Deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents.
Assess residents' clinical needs and develop, implement and review individualised care plans.
Coordinate and participate in multidisciplinary case conferences.
Complete admission, routine and ongoing clinical assessments.
Administer medications, treatments and wound care in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
Monitor residents' health, identify changes in condition and document care accurately.
Lead infection prevention and control practices, including outbreak management.
Support, mentor and supervise care staff to deliver exceptional resident care.
Foster positive relationships with residents, families and the wider care team.

To Be Successful You Will Have

Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration
Knowledge of clinical issues of ageing, including dementia related disorders and management of challenging behaviours
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A big heart - you're empathetic and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible
Experience working as a registered nurse in an aged care centre environment
