Lancemore Milawa, located in King Valley, is set at the base of the Alpine National Park and is nestled amongst award winning wineries with a backdrop of snowcapped mountains. Refurbished in 2023, and drawing inspiration from the local environment, the 40-room boutique hotel is a carefully curated space that is reimagining country luxury.

Merlot Restaurant is looking to build a strong team of Chefs delivering high quality, consistent and memorable food experience for our guests and visitors.

This is a great time to join our award winning team as we continue to move from strength to strength. We are offering casual hours to suit the right candidate.

About you.

Proven experience as a Chef in a similar environment
Be efficient, "hands on" and organised to work through those 'mad rush' moments with a smile
Well presented, punctual and reliable
Team player with a passion and skill for delivering food at a standard that complements our Boutique Hotel
Ability to work under pressure, taking initiative and working both independently and collaboratively
Positive mindset and a "can do" attitude
An understanding of food safety, WHS and HACCP principles
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
Reliable and motivated
Work rights in Australia
