About Us
Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'.

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The MCV determines in excess of 200,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, dealing with over 90 percent of all adult cases that come before Victorian courts each year.

About the Role
Lead a multidisciplinary team delivering life-changing court support services.
We're seeking an experienced and values-driven Court Services Manager to provide leadership across specialist court programs supporting individuals with complex needs. Reporting to the Senior Registrar, you will play a critical role in ensuring responsive, high-quality services that inform court processes and improve outcomes for court users.
You will lead a diverse team of program staff, including CISP, ARC, Family Violence practitioners and Koori Court Officers, driving integrated, therapeutic and culturally safe service delivery. Working closely with Judicial Officers and court leadership, you'll ensure programs are evidence-based, well-coordinated and aligned with best practice.
Key responsibilities include:

Leading and developing high-performing multidisciplinary teams

Overseeing case management practices, risk and needs assessments, and support planning

Providing authoritative advice to inform judicial decision-making

Ensuring consistent application of procedures and therapeutic frameworks

Driving continuous improvement, performance monitoring and service quality

Building strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
-
Promoting culturally safe practices and supporting Aboriginal staff and communities
About You
You are a confident leader with strong therapeutic and justice system experience and a passion for delivering impactful services. You bring:

Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams

Strong understanding of therapeutic courts, case management and complex needs support

Knowledge of family violence, including victim and perpetrator interventions

Experience applying risk and needs assessment tools

Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
-
A commitment to cultural safety, inclusion and continuous improvement
-
Tertiary qualification in law, psychology, social work, health or related field (or equivalent experience) desirable
