Front of House / Office Manager / Receptionist (Full-Time)

We are a boutique auction house based in Malvern, seeking a professional, organised, and friendly Front of House / Office Manager / Receptionist to join our small and passionate team.
This is a varied, hands-on role that is perfect for someone who enjoys customer service, administration, and being an integral part of a dynamic business. Extensive years of experience in front office service, office management and computer skills are essential. (Ideally 10+)
As the first point of contact for our clients, you'll play a key role in ensuring our office and auction operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and visitors to our showroom with professionalism and warmth.
- Manage incoming phone calls and respond to client email enquiries.
- Assist clients with auction registrations, bidding enquiries, and general auction process information.
- Support the preparation and production of auction catalogues, including coordinating information and ensuring accuracy. This will involve the usage of multiple computer programs which will require a clear and proficient understanding.
- Process post-auction payments and assist with invoicing and administrative follow-up.
- Prepare and distribute promotional and advertising emails for upcoming auctions and events.
- Maintain client records and office administration systems.
- Provide general administrative support across the business.
- Assist the team with the day-to-day operations of a busy boutique auction house.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, professional, and confident communicating with clients.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong written and verbal communicator.
- Possessing strong computer skills and confident using Microsoft Office and learning new software.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and happy working within a close-knit team.
- Previous experience in reception, office management, administration, or customer service is highly regarded.
- Previous experience or an understanding of the auction industry would be advantageous, but not essential.
