About Supernova Medical Centre

Supernova Medical Centre is a busy, well-established bulk billing clinic, providing comprehensive and accessible healthcare to a diverse patient population. Our experienced GPs, allied health professionals, and support team work collaboratively to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to establish and grow a strong client base through an existing GP referral network.

You'll become part of a collaborative healthcare team focused on delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychological care in a supportive and modern medical centre environment.

You will have the opportunity to work with clients presenting with:

Anxiety and depression
Trauma and PTSD
Stress and burnout
Relationship and family concerns
ADHD and Autism assessments (where applicable)
Child, adolescent and adult mental health
Chronic pain and health psychology
Adjustment disorders
Grief and loss
Emotional regulation and behavioural concerns
Workplace and compensation-related presentations (WorkCover, TAC and DVA)

Working closely with General Practitioners and other allied health professionals, you will provide coordinated, patient-centred care while developing long-term therapeutic relationships and supporting positive client outcomes.

We welcome applications from experienced psychologists as well as motivated early-career practitioners seeking a supportive environment to develop their careers.

We're looking for someone who:

Deliver evidence-based psychological assessment, counselling and intervention tailored to each client's individual needs.
Develop collaborative treatment plans using a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with AHPRA and professional standards.
Work collaboratively with GPs and the multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to the ongoing development of psychological services within the clinic.
Promote positive mental health, resilience and preventative wellbeing strategies within the community.

Essential Requirements

General Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
Eligibility to provide Medicare-funded psychological services
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong clinical reasoning and a patient-centred approach
Ability to work independently within a busy clinical environment
Current Professional Indemnity Insurance
Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain, where applicable)

Desirable

Experience in private practice or medical centre settings
Experience working with children, adolescents and families
Interest in chronic disease management and behavioural health
Experience using Best Practice or similar clinical software
Experience working with WorkCover, TAC and DVA clients (preferred but not essential)
