About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to establish and grow a strong client base through an existing GP referral network.
You'll become part of a collaborative healthcare team focused on delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychological care in a supportive and modern medical centre environment.
You will have the opportunity to work with clients presenting with:
- Anxiety and depression
- Trauma and PTSD
- Stress and burnout
- Relationship and family concerns
- ADHD and Autism assessments (where applicable)
- Child, adolescent and adult mental health
- Chronic pain and health psychology
- Adjustment disorders
- Grief and loss
- Emotional regulation and behavioural concerns
- Workplace and compensation-related presentations (WorkCover, TAC and DVA)
Working closely with General Practitioners and other allied health professionals, you will provide coordinated, patient-centred care while developing long-term therapeutic relationships and supporting positive client outcomes.

We're looking for someone who:
- Deliver evidence-based psychological assessment, counselling and intervention tailored to each client's individual needs.
- Develop collaborative treatment plans using a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with AHPRA and professional standards.
- Work collaboratively with GPs and the multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to the ongoing development of psychological services within the clinic.
- Promote positive mental health, resilience and preventative wellbeing strategies within the community.
Essential Requirements
- General Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
- Eligibility to provide Medicare-funded psychological services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical reasoning and a patient-centred approach
- Ability to work independently within a busy clinical environment
- Current Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain, where applicable)
Desirable
- Experience in private practice or medical centre settings
- Experience working with children, adolescents and families
- Interest in chronic disease management and behavioural health
- Experience using Best Practice or similar clinical software
- Experience working with WorkCover, TAC and DVA clients (preferred but not essential)
