Louvre Pergola Sales Consultant

Alfresco Decks Pty Ltd - Melbourne VIC

Alfresco Decks is a Melbourne-based outdoor living company specialising in premium decking, louvre pergolas and outdoor entertaining areas.

As we expand our louvre pergola division, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Consultant to manage customer enquiries, conduct site consultations and convert opportunities into sales.

About the Role

This is a commission-only sales position with no base salary.

The commission rate is 7% of eligible sales, with no cap on commissions.

Alfresco Decks supplies customer leads through our marketing. You will also have access to an existing database of previous customer enquiries for follow-up and re-engagement.

This is not a cold-calling or door-to-door sales position.

Your primary responsibility will be managing supplied opportunities from initial contact through to completed sale.

Responsibilities

Contact and qualify supplied customer enquiries
Re-engage previous customer enquiries
Book and attend residential site consultations
Understand the customer's requirements and outdoor living goals
Present suitable louvre pergola options and upgrades
Prepare and present quotations
Follow up outstanding quotations and enquiries
Answer customer questions and handle objections professionally
Close sales
Maintain an organised pipeline of leads, appointments, quotes and outcomes
Provide regular updates on sales activity and results

Commission and Earnings

This position is paid on commission only and does not include a base salary.

Commission: 7% of eligible sales

Commission is uncapped.

For example, on an eligible sale of $20,000, a 7% commission would equal $1,400.

A representative completing multiple sales each month therefore has the opportunity to earn a substantial commission income. Actual earnings will vary and are entirely dependent on individual sales performance and completed eligible sales.

The earnings examples provided are illustrative only and are not a guaranteed salary or minimum level of income.

Full details regarding commission eligibility, calculation and payment will be provided as part of the engagement agreement.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Has previous sales experience
Is confident dealing directly with homeowners
Has experience selling high-value products or services
Communicates professionally and builds customer trust
Is comfortable attending residential site consultations
Is organised and consistent with follow-up
Can manage their own sales pipeline
Is confident presenting quotations and closing sales
Is comfortable working under a performance-based commission structure
Has a professional presentation and attitude

Experience in home improvements, building and construction, pergolas, outdoor living, decking, landscaping, roofing, solar, windows and doors, kitchens, bathrooms or other high-value residential sales would be highly regarded.

Previous pergola experience is not essential. Product and pricing training will be provided.

Location

The role involves attending customer properties throughout Melbourne.

A current driver's licence and reliable transport are required.
