We are inviting applications for new team members in an exciting and dynamic work environment that is progressive in supporting students in their senior years of Secondary Education. Senior Education Studios are committed to developing our valued VCE students to be the best they can be, recognising that the traditional educational system and basic tuition, at times, does not provide everything V.C.E students need to thrive. Our empowering approach to educating, has been developed over 25 years and is designed to ensure each student is supported in the target areas required to achieve their best. During our sessions with students, we provide a partnership with our VCE students that nurtures them with academic and VCE mindset, stress management and motivation strategies.

At Senior Education Studios, you won’t have to worry about advertising or scheduling students as we manage that for you. Once you specify your availability, session will be scheduled to meet your availability.

Our priority is supporting our team members to build their skills as a tutor whilst also boosting their resume for their future career pathway. Alongside their tutoring, we provide our team with opportunities that draw on their strengths and where they are heading in their career. Examples current team members have been involved in include designing and making an online course, delivery of workshops, marketing, social media, HR and tech support. Don't be intimidated by this, it's completely optional and only if this feels exciting to you! Otherwise, just being great at your tutoring is all you need to do.

We require facilitators at our centre in Ringwood, meaning you arrive at work and then work with your students either online or in person from our workspace. It is important to note that you will be required to attend our office location at Ringwood for delivery of your tutoring sessions. We also run workshops throughout the year, which is an optional opportunity for you to be paid to join the team facilitating the workshops.

Our Approach to Education:

Our approach to education and the extent of student development differs from the mainstream approach to education. As such, initial and ongoing training and coaching is provided to ensure our high level of delivery. The positions will suit (but are not limited to) those who did well in VCE, university students, or qualified teachers looking for a change or additional teaching opportunity. Pay rate is generous and dependent on experience.

Key Skills Required:

Reliability is integral in this role as our students depend on us for support during this pivotal stage of their education. Ideally candidates will have completed Year 11 and 12 in Victoria, (meaning they have completed the VCE) as this will ensure a close knowledge of the curriculum they will be delivering.
