Utilise your HRIS systems administrative expertise to provide support and advice to People. Safety and Culture

Fixed, Full-Time opportunity to work with a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service

VPS Grade 4: $100,894 - $114,476 plus superannuation.

About the Business Unit:

People, Safety and Culture exist to support the Department of Justice and Community Safety's (DJCS) most important assets - its workforce. We strive to cultivate an enjoyable and efficient working environment that allows our staff to thrive in their roles. We do this through organisational transform..ation, expert management of human resources, payroll, recruitment, occupational health and safety, industrial relations, workforce planning and employment regulations. We also deliver a range of support functions including accommodation, fleet, records management, Enterprise Project Management, and maintenance of the Project Management Excellence Framework. PSC promotes a positive organisational culture, develops staff capability, and supports inclusion and diversity in the recruitment and retention of all roles.

About the Role:

The HRIS System Administrator's role is to monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of IT services.

Some of your duties will include:

Manage configurable changes to the application and other systems as required to ensure change supports and enhances the functionality and integrity of these systems.
Liaise with key users of the application and other HRIS, as well as system vendors to determine requirements for the ongoing maintenance and enhancements of these systems.
Document system configurations, procedures, and changes accurately and comprehensively.

Demonstrated experience and knowledge in providing support services for enterprise systems that have required troubleshooting and diagnosis of complex issues.
Understanding of deployment and testing activities required as part of new application releases
