About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Development, this role leads national market planning across Red Rooster, Oporto, Chicken Treat and Chargrill Charlie's while driving new site development opportunities throughout Victoria. You'll partner with Development, Marketing, Operations and Executive stakeholders to identify where, when and how each brand should grow. Combining location intelligence, sales forecasting and commercial analysis, you'll help determine the most suitable brand and format for every opportunity. Your insights will directly influence network expansion both statewide and nationally, investment decisions and long-term commercial performance.

Please Note: This role can be based out of NSW or VIC

Key Activities Include
National Network Planning & Growth Strategy

Own and maintain the national Network Market Plan, identifying growth markets, priority corridors and long-term network opportunities across all brands.
Assess population growth, demographics, socioeconomic trends, customer demand and location performance indicators to determine future market potential.
Evaluate brand and format suitability, recommending the highest-returning concept for each development opportunity.
Partner with Development Managers nationally to align local pipelines with network strategy and share best-practice site selection methodologies.

Location Intelligence & Sales Forecasting

Lead new store sales forecasting using trade area analysis, site characteristics, demographic profiling and location intelligence data.
Utilise GIS tools such as, GapMaps, Geotech and mobile data insights to assess footfall, customer behaviour and market demand.
Analyse customer catchments, accessibility, competitor activity and trade area performance to support site selection recommendations.
Track forecast performance against actual trading results and continuously refine forecasting models to improve accuracy and decision making.

Market Analytics & Commercial Insights

Analyse network performance, customer trends and market intelligence to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
Segment markets and trade areas into performance clusters to support network planning and strategic investment decisions.
Develop and maintain market planning databases, dashboards and reporting tools that improve visibility of network opportunities.
Deliver actionable insights and recommendations that support business cases, investment decisions and long-term growth strategies.

Development Pipeline & Site Acquisition (Victoria)

Identify priority growth corridors and evaluate potential development opportunities throughout Victoria.
Conduct feasibility studies assessing commercial, demographic, environmental and financial viability.
Source, assess and negotiate leasehold opportunities aligned to network growth objectives.
Coordinate due diligence activities and work closely with legal, financial and technical stakeholders to progress opportunities through to approval.

Stakeholder Engagement & Strategic Collaboration

Partner with Brand Marketing teams to evaluate network clusters and optimise market investment strategies.
Build strong relationships with developers, landlords, agents and franchise partners to generate high-quality site opportunities.
Assess the impact of proposed sites, relocations and remodels on existing network performance and franchise outcomes.
Present recommendations, forecasts and market insights to senior leaders and key decision-makers across the business.

About You
Essential

Degree qualification in Business, Property, Economics, Finance, Analytics or a related discipline.
Experience in market planning, network development, commercial analysis or strategic growth roles.
Strong capability using GIS tools, GapMaps, location intelligence platforms or trade area analysis tools.
Advanced analytical skills with the ability to convert complex data into commercial recommendations.
Outstanding stakeholder management skills with experience influencing cross-functional business decisions.

Desirable

Experience within QSR, retail, franchising, fuel, convenience or other multi-site businesses.
Exposure to network optimisation, customer catchment analysis or predictive modelling.
Experience presenting strategic recommendations and business cases to senior stakeholders.
