Nene Chicken Epping is looking for an experienced and motivated Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.
We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of hospitality operations and franchise environments and can confidently take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the restaurant.
This is a hands-on management role suited to someone who is organised, reliable, confident leading a team, and understands the importance of maintaining high standards in a busy hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant
- Lead, manage and motivate the team
- Ensure food quality, customer service and cleanliness standards are consistently maintained
- Manage stock levels, ordering and inventory
- Monitor staff performance and address workplace issues when required
- Ensure all food safety, workplace health and safety and franchise standards are followed
- Complete daily operational and administrative tasks
- Manage opening and closing procedures
- Monitor sales, labour costs and overall store performance
- Work closely with the business owners and head office
- Ensure the restaurant consistently operates in accordance with Nene Chicken franchise standards
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospitality management or similar leadership role
- Previous experience managing a restaurant, café, QSR or similar hospitality business
- Experience working within a franchise environment is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of hospitality operations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of food safety and workplace health and safety requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required
- A hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example
Pay: $33.00 – $36.00 per hour
