About the Department / Program
Ward 34 is a 40-bed unit providing care to patients with renal and vascular conditions. As one of the largest Renal units in Australia, we specialise in transplantation, dialysis and end-stage renal failure management.
We are one of only three hospitals in the country to care for patients receiving simultaneous pancreas and kidney transplants.
We work closely alongside a number of wards both within the hospital and on other Monash Health campuses that form the Monash Health Nephrology and Vascular surgery department.
About the Role
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in a full-time or part-time role at Monash Medical Centre. We have multiple ongoing and fixed-term positions available across the ward.
About You
You are a genuinely passionate and caring person who is highly committed to delivering exceptional care within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You have amazing interpersonal skills that make you a clear communicator and influencer, while having the ability to build rapport with others, working well within a multidisciplinary team.
You have:
Demonstrated experience working in acute clinical settings
Availability to work across shifts on a Rotating roster.
Well-developed interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to changing situations readily and the ability to think laterally
A commitment to working collaboratively and effectively with a team
Flexibility to support our renal and vascular services
Demonstrate ongoing clinical education relevant to the area of practice
What You Need:
A willingness to learn & grow your leadership capabilities through a commitment to a portfolio
Graduate Certificate in Renal Nursing is highly regarded
